disbelief in marriage

Also because society is pushy about it. Activate curmudgeon mode!

I disbelieve in marriage because marriage involves a third party which owns too much control: the government. Two people, or more for all I care, can agree whatever they want between themselves. No government should be rejiggering like a bad programmer, making special-case rules about who and what and how. They **** mess with your taxes fergoshsakes, as if that had anything to do with a personal commitment. I refuse to participate in such egregious antisocial misengineering.

That’s my personal feeling, and I don’t worry if others marry. That’s their business, and we’re all free to expose our front panel switches if we wish.
