Philosophy is beyond salvation on its own terms. That doesn’t bother me, because I can save the good bits myself on my own terms. And anyway, the way to save ideas is not to work them out (stay in their own terms), but to rework them (change them to new terms). That’s how science has always worked; philosophy should be the same.
