2 January 2019 - time zones

I thought time zones were needless—why isn’t the entire Earth in one time zone? Now I realize the far-sighted purpose. People are trained from an early age to understand that time is different depending on where you are. When we abandon the Earth, everyone will have the basic foundation they need to learn a topic that will suddenly become important, special relativity.
