29 January 2020 - plastic pollution 1

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

They say nobody knows what happens to the smallest bits of microplastic pollution. Translating into English, that means we do know what happens in general terms: Traces cannot be found, so the bits were broken down into simpler molecules, whether by microorganisms or by sunlight and chemistry. Is that pollution, or fertilizer? New method to reuse plastic: Grind it into microscopic grains and blow the powder into the air to promote plant growth and combat global warming.

clue:

It could be both pollution and fertilizer. But plastic contains energy so it’s a sure bet that some microorganisms will eat it, and microorganisms adapt very fast. How that affects the rest of the world is the question.

give me a clue so sweet and true
