Today we prefer natural ingredients, because artificial ingredients are produced by the lowest bidder. But you know, living things conduct chemical warfare, they are always trying to poison each other. And that’s to say nothing of the ethical aspects of eating innocent carrots which want only to live free and produce baby carrots. Someday, labels will proudly advertise “all ingredients artificial!”
