When you say "I'm so happy I could just die," the observer notes "Subject perceives possible terminal joy." When you say "It's so beautiful I could just die" the observer notes "Subject discerns potentially fatal beauty." When you muse "It's so complicated I could study it forever," the observer records "No duh."
