Tyr blog post about Steamhammer

Simon Prins’s Tyr blog seemed to be mostly about a Starcraft 2 bot, so it had fallen off my radar. Now he has e-mailed me about a profile of Steamhammer, the latest post. It seems like a fair overview of Steamhammer for someone who’s looking around at starter bots and hasn’t made a choice yet.

In the same vein is a profile of UAlbertaBot. It seems there are a number of posts about Brood War bots after all; it is not all Starcraft 2. I liked the posts about human rush skills versus bot rush skills and rush defense, pointing out that bots still have room to improve.

I am glad you liked the posts. I want to post about both Brood War bots and Starcraft 2 bots. My own Starcraft 2 bot is taking quite some time to get started, and there is a lot more going on with the Brood War scene, so I end up writing a lot of posts about Brood War.
