| Jay : game learning : about |
This site is about how computers can learn to get better at playing games. I’ll include any information about techniques or programs for learning the tactics and strategy of game play. I concentrate on strategy games, but if you know about a robot that learns to improve its ping-pong, by all means let me know! I prefer online information, but “links” to the world of print are also OK.
I write mainly for artificial intelligence researchers, but I’d like to make the information useful for game programmers too. I’m interested in suggestions on how to make the material easier for newcomers to grasp. Help make the world a funner place!
Please send me e-mail if you find an error, have a suggestion, want some information added, disagree with an opinion, or just have something to say. If you write a good review or rebuttal, I’ll link it in (if you allow me). I’m counting on all you out there to find new stuff, to fill in gaps, and to turn up fresh viewpoints. This is a wide field; don’t let me wallow in my biases.
Opinions are mine unless attributed to someone else. There are a lot of opinions here—don’t mistake them for genuine facts.
