The U.S. Air Force is developing an emergency communication system for use
after a nuclear war. It’s called GWEN, the Ground Wave Emergency Network, and
it uses low-frequency radio waves. But Congress has decreed that the Air
Force cannot use GWEN until they’ve first studied the possible health effects
of the low-frequency waves.
Even when your home has been blasted into incandescent vapor, you are safe in
the USA. Congress is looking out for your health.
