Don’t worry. Humanity has survived the Cold War (new! fortified with nine essential beeping satellites!), the Black Plague (hmm, what color should I wear today?), and even the invention of alcohol (something liquid this way comes). Suppose we do achieve peace on Earth—we can probably survive that too.
