20 January 2004 - MikeRoweSoft

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

reporter: Microsoft is attempting to take the domain MikeRoweSoft.com from Mike Rowe.
Smart & Biggar: A blatant infringement, as WIPO will affirm.
reporter: Aren’t you risking bad publicity?
Smart & Biggar: Ha ha! How many security bulletins? Microsoft is a duck and bad publicity is water.
reporter: Nevertheless, isn’t it overkill to go after a teenager’s web site? What is Microsoft thinking?
Smart & Biggar: Crush! Kill! Destroy!

clue:

Smart & Biggar is (I read) Microsoft’s Canadian law firm. WIPO is the World Intellectual Property Organization. The line “Crush! Kill! Destroy!” is from the TV series Lost in Space, where it is spoken by a single-minded evil android.

reporter: “Smart & Biggar”? What kind of name is that? Smart & Biggar: Don’t you read your spam?

give me a clue so sweet and true
