Poet: What must it be like to be kept underground, to
have your whole worldview shaped and twisted by one person?
Smart: What scares me is that the newspapers quote
experts who claim to know all about this kind of thing.
Poet: It’s a metaphor for the human condition, making
up lies to control each other and never breaking free.
Smart: Self-kidnapped and self-enslaved?
Weird: Wow, very philosophistical.
Poet: Excuse me, I feel a screenplay coming on.
Weird: Woo! Free at last! Let’s glockenspiel around
the clockenspiel!
