If government is animation (and you can’t deny that the actors are animated), then a major policy change is a hand-animated camera move—even with a great budget, it’s never quite smooth enough to look convincing. But you go with it anyway, because a theoretically-perfect computer-rendered camera move leads to sterility. The lesson we must draw is that lessons must be drawn, even if you end up overshooting.
