Butterfly Effect

Everybody knows that long-range weather forecasts can’t be trusted, and that climate is weather in the long run, but inventing climate models somehow still seems like a good idea. That’s why Amazon deforestation is so important. We’ll gain a firmer handle on the whole subject as soon as all the butterflies in Brazil are gone.
