If you don’t perceive anything, you never have to change your mind. Sensory deprivation is the ultimate opinion stabilization methodology. Actually, it’s enough to not notice anything. But then again, can’t you get by with simply not taking notice? Accept everything and let it flow through, a mind like a steel pipe. Of course, after a while that causes hallucinations.
