9 December 2009 - in the gap

The fun is in the gap, and the goal of science is to systematically squeeze the gap to zero. Scientists are stealing the fun and leaving none for the rest of us (unless you’re some weirdo who likes cocktail parties or bungee jumping). I for one believe the call is clear: On antitrust grounds alone, science must be stopped. Besides, being systematic in itself destroys fun.
