The purpose of school (government-sponsored daycare) is to teach kids that grownups know it all, so please sit back and enjoy the ride. It works for a while. The purpose of TV (privately sponsored daycare) is to teach kids that companies know it all, so please bring your money and enjoy the ride. Moral: We need more daycare.
