Steve Wozniak, Elon Musk, and Stephen Hawking all fear that smart machines will wipe us out. Exceptional humans reject human exceptionalism. But isn’t that just another example of the elite fearing revolution from below? How will the rest of us be worse off than we are under the old tyranny of the computer, the car, and the educational institution?
