10 March 2019 - daylight saving time

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Daylight saving time, as we call it in the U.S., does not affect daylight and saves nothing—but it is related to time, so the name is more accurate than many. Moves are afoot to fail to correct this error, so at least that much is normal. Bills have been introduced to make daylight saving time the only time, doing away with standard time so that all time will be nonstandard, in conformance with common practice.

clue:

Apparently the times of day when given events occur are so deeply embedded in the culture that it is easier to change the clock than to change the schedules. Still, the inane time shifts will go away.

give me a clue so sweet and true
