Another Stable Solution

Total ignorance is a stable solution. If all ideas weigh equally, you can find no route to the truth. But it is not stable against perturbation; the ignorance has to be exact. A slight accidental bias toward being right is enough to set you on the path to enlightenment. Life must have arisen from such an accident, and then evolution took over. Evolution brought us conspiracy theorists with a bias toward being wrong.
