4 October 2019 - geoengineering

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

But seriously, why do so many dismiss geoengineering off the bat? Sure, if you try to solve the whole problem by seeding the oceans with iron, or lacing the skies with sulfur, you’re liable to end up worse than you started. But you don’t solve a big problem with one big solution, you want a flexible patchwork of small solutions that you can trim over time to fit. Geoengineering is a fine 15% fix, taking off that much of the pressure from other solutions. So... just a small nuclear war?
