Individualism for Simplicity

Some meal subcultures come with a confusing array of utensils for specific uses. Some call for using your fingers in surprising ways. There is no reason to learn all the varied rulesets for different contexts. It's just food, you'll just eat it, and if anyone cares how, that's their problem. For my part, I follow a few simple principles: The knife is barbaric. The fork is decadent. The spoon is acceptable.

clue:

True story. Forks have uses in food preparation, but not in eating. Chopsticks are another simple choice, but you'll sometimes have to supplement them with a spoon.

give me a clue so sweet and true
