< yesterday -- tomorrow >

The ideal of libertarianism, according to its name, is to proscribe prescription. Libertarians seem as eager as anyone else to tell us how to run the world, though. Of course, that's because libertarianism is a normal human ideological phenomenon, so it comes in many incompatible schools. Personally, it seems to me that the big thing they have in common is a low level of belief in the normal human sociological phenomenon of robber barons.
