Another risk with AI is not an AI risk, but a delegation risk. In the 1990s, internet companies found that profit lies in owning and controlling other people's data in the largest possible volume. Facebook, Google, Amazon, eBay, and most others work that way. Now AI providers work that way too, and people chat with AI about everything, including what they would never mention to a living soul. Social media is an ant under its foot. And as Trump has shown, once you're powerful enough, morality is of no use. The only way to re-empower individuals is strong personal AI.
