other changes to Overkill
Overkill AIIDE 2016 is not Overkill 2015 plus Q-learning. Overkill is extensively updated. Scanning quickly through the diffs, I spotted changes affecting:
- pathfinding
- influence mapping
- handling of enemy cloaked units
- reactions to enemy flying units
- choke finding
- scouting
- assignment of squads to targets (I think)
- behavior of irradiated units
- behavior of overlords
- prioritization of targets to attack
- static defense, both ground and air
- reactions to enemy bunkers and cannons
My list is not complete. I really want to see some games!
