KangarooBot is back

KangarooBot has returned. Its github repo claims many bug fixes, and critical enhancements such as “Improved retreating to the point where retreating is no longer an option.” (Steamhammer takes that attitude with lurkers, btw, with mixed success.) The goal of the update is said to be “to see what Bot v Bot stuff i need to fix.” The answer appears to be a lot. KangarooBot was disabled on BASIL with a win rate under 6%; it has scored better on SSCAIT with 16% wins.

On the topic of funny bot names, do you suspect a secret connection between StarCrusher and Stardust?

Well, they are both "Star"craft bots. :P

Stardust looks to be even better than Locutus btw.
Win rate vs zerg is an extremely outrageous 98,3% (306-5 @ BASIL). Only Crona won more than 1 game vs Stardust.

Seriously, zerg is virtually helpless against Stardust so far. When Stardust does lose to zerg, the games don’t look on the surface as though protoss made some horrible blunder like getting its dragoons stuck behind cannons (as Locutus did). They look like protoss played OK and zerg played better in that rare game. The impression is kind of strange.
