4 March 2003 - human shields
< yesterday --
tomorrow >
This question is for everyone who has put dryer sheets into the
furnace so that the whole house would smell like fresh laundry.
Wouldn’t it be fun to go to Iraq and be a voluntary human shield,
supplementing the involuntary shields appointed by the government?
Also, what’s that stink?
clue:
According to news reports, most of the “human shield” activists
have left Iraq, partly because—get this—it’s too dangerous.
Also, Iraq assigned shield sites which could be seen as more
strategic than humanitarian, and being paranoid of westerners Iraq
“guarded” them closely. Everyone who is surprised, raise your
eyebrow, if you still have one.
give me a clue so sweet and true
