Defending Fort Bliss

reporter: Wait, when you say “we can’t risk anyone knowing,” do you really mean anyone?
High-Level Administration Source: That’s right. Scientific studies have shown that, statistically, the best way to prevent a secret from being passed on is to not know it. So in this administration we’ve made it a policy that no one is allowed to have knowledge, from the president on down.
reporter: That explains a lot.
Source: And by forgetting the launch codes, we also reduce the risk of nuclear war.

clue:

By the way, Fort Bliss (an Army installation in Texas) offers this delightful mission statement: “Team Bliss trains, sustains, mobilizes, and deploys members of the joint team to conduct global, full spectrum operations in support of the national military strategy, while providing for the well-being of the regional military community.” Ahhh!

give me a clue so sweet and true
