Companies always say that your internet IP address is not personal information. Despite that, I only have one IP address, and you can tell exactly who I am from it. There are lots of people called “Jay Scott”, so my name is even further from personal information. And what about my street address? What if more than one person lives here? If you think about it properly, there’s no such thing as personal information and all this privacy foofaraw is over nothing. Wow, now I understand corporate paradise!
