2 April 2013 - special days

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

What a chaos of holidays and birthdays! Who misdesigned this excuse for a system? Clearly the world needs my talents. One solution is to make every day special, a precious and beautiful snowflake of a day loved by its parents and respected by all as a unique momentary opportunity until the next day. Seize the moment arm! Another is for every day to be everyday so that we abandon the calendar as uninformative, a vast simplification. The Zero-One-Infinity Rule tells us that there exists a third solution: To have exactly one special day. I suggest January 1 of the year 0. That will give us an incentive to at long last fix up our timeline to include a year 0.
