It’s over, AlphaGo defeated Lee Sedol, world #5 go player, by 4-1 in a magnificent publicity stunt and, apparently by coincidence, a reminder that AI continues to progress while everybody is looking away. I think. Actually it kind of signals that AI is finished, time to pack up and head home in our self-driving cars while Google puts the finishing touches on its world domination plan.
