I think I’m beginning to see how to manage the future President Trump. The man has poor impulse control and can’t resist saying whatever he thinks you want to hear. So when you talk with him, maneuver him into a big promise and then instantly publicize the promise far and wide. Trump won’t remember making any promise (such trivia is beneath notice), but if it’s big enough and public enough, the media will remind him.
