3 December 2016 - a stute politics

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

You don’t get to be U.S. president without a political stute or two. Trump knows how to rile up his base. When events turn against him, as they sometimes do for every leader, he complains like a whiny child, “It’s not fair! You don’t let me win!” His base agrees, the system is rigged against them, and they have a point. Of course Trump’s policies are more suttee than astute and will never unrig the system, but as soon as we get rid of him we know what to do.

clue:

As when he complained that the election was rigged. Of course, the system is not at all rigged against billionaires.

give me a clue so sweet and true
