29 August 2017 - burst of transcendence

They say we are to love love and hate hatred, but we still find too little love and too much hatred. If we accept the advice, our response must be to intensify our feelings. But that is unstable positive feedback; it can end only in a burst of fire or of transcendence. Is that supposed to be the plan behind the New Testament?
