A million people cannot keep a secret; there will always be a Snowden. About a million Americans hold Top Secret security clearances, and millions more have lower level clearances. Meanwhile, critics complain that too much information is classified. Well, but look, isn’t that backwards? If you have too much information and you can’t keep it secret anyway, then the way to keep it out of unauthorized hands is to authorize more hands. Why not security clearance vending machines?
