Going Wild

If we isolate serious cases so they can’t spread, and let mild cases go, we’re putting selective pressure on the virus to become less severe. It’s directed evolution, like selecting for flowers which don’t have a scent. But we have gene tools now, we can do better. Fiddle the virus until it spreads well with mild symptoms, and we have the cheapest possible vaccine. Have you gotten sick yet?
