16 August 2020 - compare and contrast

Compare and contrast two nineteenth century poets, hmm. OK, Tennyson
is boring except for occasional startling beautiful lines, like
burlap with jewels sewn on. Whereas Swinburne is bright and glossy
throughout but rough with the actual thread of the argument, more
like sackcloth of gold. Done. Why would anyone need to write more?
