Compare and contrast two nineteenth century poets, hmm. OK, Tennyson is boring except for occasional startling beautiful lines, like burlap with jewels sewn on. Whereas Swinburne is bright and glossy throughout but rough with the actual thread of the argument, more like sackcloth of gold. Done. Why would anyone need to write more?
