If no one makes jokes in bad taste, then the Overton window of acceptable jokes will narrow over time. Eventually it will narrow to zero and no jokes will be allowed. The joke pressure will build up and burst through, making everything acceptable--which is unacceptable. Fear not, I am here to help.
