23 October 2021 - collective action
< yesterday --
tomorrow >
To fight the pandemic, or global warming, or whatever, pundits generally
call for collective action. Pundits favor world government and other
distant ideals, and do not take into account the unremitting
remittances, or the totality of partiality (“there is no daylight
between our positions, only a vast expanse of night”). Rather than
collective action, today we should settle for action by everybody.
