Action 1: Send the workers home so they don’t get sick.
Unintended consequence 1: They realize how much they hate their jobs and quit.
Then: Employers are forced to improve wages and conditions.
Result: Heaven on Earth.
Unintended consequence 2: Less stuff gets made, and everybody orders stuff online.
Then: Somehow unexpected clogs and shortages.
And: “A lengthy shortage is a contradiction in terms.”
Leading to: Bad central bank decisions, inflation, economic chaos.
Result: Hell on Earth.
