Eating in a fast food restaurant, I listened to a young couple who came in after me as they moved toward their table.
The man said, a little curtly, "Hey, get some napkins."
The woman replied in a sarcastic tone, "Yes, dear."
The vitality of the institution of marriage repeatedly surprises me.
