Walking on a sidewalk, I heard a horn blast from a parked car, and a frenzied
“An accident! I hit it!” I turned in alarm, and the occupant explained with
agitation that he had hit the horn by accident. As I went on my way, he
started the car, made a U-turn, and drove the wrong way down the one-way
street.
Fortunately, natural selection takes care of these people with some dispatch.
