Biosphere II is a sealed habitat in Arizona, full of good engineering,
selected plants and animals, semi-scientific plans and a crew of idealists.
Abigail Alling was in charge of choosing the plants and animals. Before she
was sealed in, she called it “A brave new step.”
Oh brave new world, that has such people in’t. Aldous Huxley would be proud.
