Finally, health care is expensive because of simple inefficiency. Many
insurance companies are stuck in 1950, and still keep their records on paper,
in giant warehouses, with armies of clerks to retrieve and refile documents.
Hospitals are hardly better.
These people don’t need a national program, they need a calendar for the right
year.
