Walter Stewart and Ned Feder are failed government scientists who turned to
scientific fraudbusting. They accused the wrong people and interfered with
scientific progress, but they kept it up until they got reassigned. Why
reassigned? Because they strayed out of science and into literary plagiarism.
Rule 1 for government employees: Do your job as badly as you like, but don’t
do somebody else’s.
