Since then, legions of heroic visionaries have pulled together to bring about stunning advances in computers, networking, and information organization, thereby revolutionizing education, scholarship, entertainment, and many other fields of human endeavor. Why, already a good one ten-thousandth of all knowledge is freely available on the Internet, and toddlers compete directly with full professors in adding to the total.
