8 August 2000 - Earth’s backyard

Hey listen, the news says a planet was discovered in Earth’s backyard. That’s cool, but y’know, when I looked in my backyard there was only a teeny tiny little bit of a planet, just dirt and stuff. Nothing much to look at. Weeds surviving. So I’m like wondering, is “backyard” one of those words that don’t mean what it says, like “reality television”?
