Retirement years are the golden years, provided you have enough gold. That brings me to the definition of an American: An American is a person who, when asked about Social Security, says “Aren’t they the ones who are running out of money?” and when asked about retirement, says “I don’t know much about it, but won’t Social Security handle it?”
