20 May 2001 - king of the Earth

I recently became king of the Earth, and I’m finding the job more difficult than I expected. The choices seem so evenly balanced: Should I require HMO’s to include life insurance in their coverage, or outlaw the word “sociopolitical”, or crack down on dryer lint? Should I assemble a team of scientists to study whether I really do sing better when nobody’s listening? And when I’ve worked all night making the world a better place, should I get up or hit the snooze button?
