Mean: Normal, you’re so dumb, you don’t even know the difference between apodixis and apodioxis.
Normal: Yeah I do, they’re both funny words.
Weird: Oh come on, everybody knows what apodixis is.
Mean: They do?
Normal: Everybody who needs to.
Weird: And apodioxis is just naughty.

Apodixis is citing common knowledge as evidence, and apodioxis is rejecting something as bad or useless.
